The other evening I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from John Orr, Co-Chairman of the Institute of Structural Engineers, informing me that I had made it to the shortlist of their 2010 Photography Competition. Online chemist Masters Direct had recently teamed up with Practical Photography magazine to run a national photography competition. The theme was “Be Inspired” and involved participants entering photographs which they thought inspired fitness, exercise and healthy living.
